These paintings represent the time I spent as part of the I Corps Mike Force in 1966, and later, as Engineering Officer at the C-Team, 1967.
Among other responsibilities as Engineering Officer in mid-1967, I was responsible for the design and start of construction of the new Lang Vei camp, working with the A-Team there, and with the SeaBees assigned for construction.c
Hopefully, these paintings and those of A-103 Gia Vuc, on the previous page, will convey something of what it was like there, in ways that photos never can.
