These paintings are a series of 12, I painted in 1999, as a personal tribute to the men of the Special Forces, who served in Vietnam and southeast Asia.  While they depict actual experiences of mine with A-103, Gia Vuc and A-113, Mike Force, Danang, they are meant to convey, and pay respect to, the wide-ranging and various missions that Special Forces soldiers were called upon to perform throughout the Vietnam War.  These men were the very best--they faced the longest odds, by themselves, with a smile.  You had to be there, to truly understand.  De oppressor liber!lick here to add your text.
